About me and this blog
2026-02-05
Hey, my name is alcinzal. The name does not mean anything, it was just randomly generated a while back. The avatar I use is this digital artwork: "Consumption" (2021) by Miko Maciaszek.
I am very interested in cybersecurity, drawn mainly to the grey/black hat side of it. Crypto jacking (or silent crypto mining) is where most of my focus is at. The reason for that is because to me, it doesn't feel too morally wrong. I can't really bring myself to do something that significantly hurts the individual, like to steal, scam, drain, blackmail, ransom, etc. However, crypto jacking, especially idle crypto jacking, won't really affect the individual at all, not in a significant way at least. However I do of course understand it's illegal and (slightly) harmful, therefore the plan is to actually stop this entire operation at one point in the future, whenever I manage to get a decent legitimate income. I will announce that when it happens, so if I randomly disappear one day, it is more likely that the feds got me.
Because of my interest in crypto jacking, I have had to look at various ways to exploit Windows. How to develop malware, spread it, evade antivirus, live off the land, and more. This will then naturally be what most of the posts on this blog will be about, though I must note that I probably won't post too often.
I have decided to create this blog because I like helping people out, but I often find myself answering the same questions multiple times, which is why a blog would be handy to have in these situations. I can simply redirect the asker to a comprehensive blog post that serves the answer, but also gives additional information.
As I like sharing information, I also like receiving it. If you have anything that you believe I would find of interest, don't hesitate to contact me.
